We launched GoWrite, a brand new arm for participation and engagement, in 2017. An ambitious year-round programme of creative learning opportunities, it is completely free for participants.
GoWrite draws directly on our professional work: participants are empowered to write their own plays and continue their playwriting journeys with us long into the future.
Young People
Our creative learning programme for young people empowers state secondary schools, SEN centres, PRUs and other youth settings, including for refugees, carers or young people with disabilities, to embed playwriting into their creative arts provision. Young people taking part in the programme have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, develop their own creative voice, hone their creative thinking and writing skills, and build confidence.
The programme includes:
-
Playwriting workshops
-
Young Playwrights' Award
-
Education Packs for our Papatango New Writing Prize productions
-
Arts Award activities
-
Artsmark support
-
