About me
Janus Tamames (they/them) is a Spanish scriptwriter currently based in the UK. After working in independent film production in Madrid, they studied an MA in Scriptwriting at the University of East Anglia. Ghosts, monsters and apocalypses of various kinds frequent their writing, acting as vehicles to explore kindness in the most unlikely of times. As a queer creator, they're interested in the worlds that emerge in the margins, and aspire to tap into art’s potential to build community. Their short play Lethe will be performed at the INK Festival 2025.
