The Matilda Factor

Six women are backstage, getting ready to face a representative of the Nobel Prize Committee. Each year, these six female scientists have been getting together over dinner to commiserate with each other for not having received the Nobel Prize, which was instead given to others - generally the men with whom they worked. However, tonight will be different. Instead of their annual dinner, the President of the World Feminist Organisation, the WFO, has arranged for these women to each be presented with a Nobel Prize in acknowledgement of their contributions to the world of science – at least, that is the expectation.
