About me

My journey as an artist has been beautifully shaped by my experiences and background - my career in the arts started without formal training as I didn’t have the financial support, but I pushed open as many doors to allow me to grow first as an actor with The National Youth Theatre and later as a director and writer. Receiving my first writing commissions creating theatre for and with young people, inspired me to play with form and storytelling styles to speak about issues that mattered to these young people.

Recent writing commissions/projects include:
‘Respect: The Aretha Franklin Songbook’ (Arena and UK Tour)
Alice in Winter Wonderland (Vision Arts)
Jungle Book: The Game (Vison Arts)
Tethered (RADA Labworks)
m(other) (Coronet Theatre, RADA and Bloomsbury Festival)

The call to write and consider why my voice and creativity might matter, pushed me as a single mother of a beautiful autistic girl to take on a full time MA Theatre Lab at RADA in 2023 to spend time playing, experimenting with form and content and creating stories for stage and screen.

I was selected for School of Hightide 2021.
