Synopsis:
Synopsis: ‘Before Alice’ is the story of Alice, a reserved, sweet-natured yet unexpectedly dynamic woman who, after a stint as a botanist, decides to leave the pressurised world of academia to open her own plant and flower shop in the market town where she grew up. Due to open doors for the first time tomorrow, worries about her social awkwardness flare up and she confides in her only companion - her favourite plant cactus. Alice’s past seems to haunt her in unexpected bursts. She must trust in nature - it is what she knows and what she loves… She must make this work before she becomes trapped by her past…

Future First
Synopsis:
Future First is a futuristic fantasy adventure set against the backdrop of climate change. The audience becomes virtual avatars as they follow Arden and True, two 15-year-old Variant participants, who enter parallel universes seeking solutions to climate change in a race against time. This unique production created by young people from the New Forest in collaboration with Assembled Moments theatre company celebrates climate hope, showcasing the power of youth and collective action in shaping a better tomorrow.
Future First premiered at Forest Arts Centre as part of the Artful Scribe Play on Words festival in October 2024.

Sami had a tough year. She’s lost everything but she needs to hold it all together for her daughter. Don’t worry she’s completely fine. She’s always fine. She’s so fine in fact it’s time to try something new. She is going to reconnect with nature. Can walking save her life?
