About me
Romeo Mika is a playwright and storyteller committed to amplifying the Black British experience, particularly within working-class communities. His writing explores themes of love, vulnerability, identity, and social justice, blending sharp social commentary with humor and emotional depth.
His upcoming play, This Too Shall Pass, will be staged at Theatre Peckham’s Fringe Festival on June 5th and 6th. A romantic dramedy, the play delves into vulnerability, healing, and the courage it takes to open one’s heart again.
Beyond his own productions, Romeo has contributed to the story development of The LeftBehinds with Ned Bennett and Ross Willis, which is currently touring with the National Theatre schools tour.
