About me
Rinré Olusola is an actor and writer based in London. Whilst studying at Oxford University, she won the Drama Society’s New Writing Festival and wrote her first play, ‘Cut, Paste, Enter’ which ran as part of an art installation in Modern Art Oxford. Rinré’s debut stage play, ‘VESSEL’ went on a national tour in 2022, and was selected as a top pick for Edinburgh’s Femfringe.
Since graduating, Rinré has had work performed at Anthroplay Theatre’s ‘Escape Through Words’ scratch night and has done dramaturgy for Oxford’s Offbeat festival. Her passion for access and creative wellbeing led her to develop a playwriting course for Black state school students for social enterprise Thinking Black, and explore writing and wellbeing as part of Tamasha Theatre’s 2024-25 Creative Wellbeing Lab. Rinré has recently completed a playwriting course under Mike Bartlett and now writes for the scratch night he co-produces, ‘Prototype’, and is a member of Talawa Theatre’s Introductory Writers’ Group.
