Monument
Synopsis:
‘Will somebody here tonight please tell me when it is that we can start rebuilding our lives?’
With the eyes of the world watching, a Welsh farming community gathers to vote on whether or not to build a Memorial. But what does this Memorial commemorate? Why is it so contentious? And how, when the time comes, will you vote?
With two possible endings based on how the audience votes, Monument invites us to join this community as we are faced with an impossible question - how, when the fabric of society has been torn, can the threads be woven back together?
