I'm a Writer/ Performer based in north-west England. After growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of characters and stories that represented me and those around me whilst working as a performing artist, I started writing and creating my own work to share lesser told narratives. I have been published in anthology books and have had work produced on stage, radio and television.

Commissioned by DaDa Fest and performed at Unity Theatre. When a young woman has an identity crisis she starts examining the different labels she defines herself by and questions why she needs these labels so badly.
Breeding Machine – 2021
Full length play
‘Breeding Machine’ a one-woman comedy play about life with chronic gynaecological disease and the inequalities in healthcare this exposes has been longlisted by The Royal Court and is currently being developed with the support of the Arts Council.

Exploring the conflict and duality of holding a physical job whilst disabled. Published in Indivisible Anthology by Comma Press. Selected for and performed at Moss Side Literature Festival.

A play about the discrimination and hardships a young disabled woman faces, currently being written with the support of Soho theatre and Box of Tricks Theatre company.
Sun, sand and staples – TV Pilot
A comedy drama about life working as the craziest freak show in the Middle East. China a young 20 something is determined this contract is going to be the start of something big, But how long can she be the best in the cast, The life of the party and the shoulder for everyone else before things start unravelling. When your job involves putting cigarettes out on your colleague’s tounges and playing with fire and time off nearly always involves alcohol, hook ups and fall outs; There is never a quiet moment.
Jacqueline the Ripper – TV Pilot
An alternative history, What if the reason the police never found their man was because the real murderer was a woman? In her desperate fight to improve the conditions around her, Jacquline decides it’s worth it to sacrifice some for the greater good. Having to use extreme violence to keep the press and therefore the police paying attention, We see exactly what drove this normal WhiteChapel girl to commit prolific crimes.
Take the knee – Short Film
An 18th-century upper-class society based on a small British Isle take courting traditions in a new direction. The ladies sick of facing social disgrace when unable to secure a husband, yet seeing the men see no consequence of choosing not to settle down decide to take a more active role in literally catching a man. Through the eyes of a ladies maid who has just arrived on the aisle and doesn’t understand what is going on, We see a hunting party with each woman out to catch a husband and bachelors trying to flee rather than take a shot to the knee.
