About me
I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2018 with a 1st class degree in creative writing. Since graduating I have had work performed at both Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festivals, at Southwark Playhouse, Arcola Theatre, Theatre 503, The Hope and VAULTS.
My debut professional play ‘Hug the Bunny’ was featured in DAZED magazine’s article ‘Plays We Wish We'd Seen as Teenagers’ and received several five-star reviews. ‘My First Time was in a Car Park’ sold-out in London 2021. In May last year it transferred to the Brighton Fringe where we were runner’s up for ‘Best Play’, received two five-star reviews (The Seagull Brighton & WeLoveBrighton) a Highly Recommended Show (FringeReview) and a four-star review from Broadway World. My theatre company, UNZIPPED, with Arts Council funding, made a short film based on the play - it was shared with over 2000 schools in the UK to support the students' learning on sex and consent.
