I am a past winner of the Papatango Prize and my winning play PACK ran at the Finborough Theatre for a month where it attracted rave reviews. I'm also a past winner of a Bruntwood Prize Judges' Award for SHADOW PLAY which was championed by Jackie Kay. In addition to my theatre work, I've had three radio dramas broadcast on BBC Radio 4. ALONE IN THE GARDEN WITH YOU was produced and directed by Jessica Dromgoole and THE MAN INSIDE THE RADIO IS MY DAD starring Charlie Brooks - and SLIPPING THROUGH TIME - starring Ellie Kendrick - were produced and directed by Tracey Neale.My debut short film WEIGHTLESS, directed by Lois Norman and starring Toyah Willcox premiered at Dukes at Komedia Picturehouse as part of Brighton Rocks International Film Festival 2023. The film has won multiple selections and awards on the international film festival circuit.My three minute screenplay CELEBRATING TCHAIKOVSKY won best three minute script at the UK Film Festival 2023.My most recent short script CALATHEA won best short script at the Best Script Awards - London 2024. It was also a finalist at this year's Script to Screen competition at the Kingston International Film Festival and winner of best short script at New Renaissance Film Festival.My feature length script THE MAN ON THE MOON was one of five screenplays chosen by Unsolicited Scripts for L.A. film producer, Rachel Stander, to consider for her next project.The script also won best feature length script at the UK Film Festival 2024 and is the winner of best feature script at Unrestricted View Film Festival 2024. Film producer Annie Lees-Jones, Well Made Films has read and loves the script and is now keen to help me get this film made.I'm now collaborating with film producer Will Nash and film director Mariam Majiid on CELEBRATING TCHAIKOVSKY a short film that was shortlisted for CenterFrame's GET IT MADE competition. I'm also collaborating with film producer Rowena Amos and film director Mariam Majiid on a short film CALATHEA.
