Maurielle McGarvey is a writer from Houston, Texas. Their work primarily focuses on abrasive women, environmental collapse, and other man-made horrors. She is a USC Renaissance Scholar with a BFA in Screenwriting and a minor in Gender / Justice studies. Maurielle’s writing has been honored by YoungArts, the Kennedy Center College Theater Festival, and USC’s Visions and Voices. They currently reside in the UK, where she is completing an MA in Playwriting at the University of Manchester.
