Madina Arisekola Alao is a science fiction nerd and self proclaimed film buff. She shortlisted for the Creative Future Writer’s Award in 2021 and then again in 2022. After joining the Southwark Playhouse Black writer’s collective where she wrote her first play; Madina began working as a script reader and first assistant director for low budget independent film.
