About me
I’m a working-class writer and performer from Essex.
After studying Acting at Bretton Hall, I spent over a decade as an actor and comedian, writing sketch and musical comedy with duo partner, Kathryn Bond. We earned critical acclaim for our sell-out shows at the Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, and VAULT festivals and our work featured on BBC Radio 4.
I then went on to write two solo comedy shows that I took to the Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT festivals between 2017-2019. I was a Musical Comedy Awards finalist 2017 and shortlisted for the Funny Women Writing award 2018 for a sitcom pilot script.
I have just written my debut play, 70 Square Feet, a family drama exploring class, wealth and homelessness.
