About me

After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a first in English literature, I have been living it large post-lockdown by writing plays under my own steam and trying to build a community of other writers. I’ve been lucky enough to share my short plays and excerpts of longer works in progress at scratch nights and festivals up and down the UK, from Stratford East and Greenwich Theatre in London to Bedford Fringe and Edinburgh’s own BedFest, which has allowed me to experiment, play around and take risks. In an overpriced bid to take my writing to the next level, I’m currently undertaking the Playwriting Msc at The University of Edinburgh under the tutelage of Nicola McCartney, as the lucky recipient of the Hunter Sharpe Memorial Scholarship. A one-act play I wrote during my first semester was longlisted for the Bill Cashmore Memorial Prize by the Lyric Hammersmith in February of this year (2024.) Always looking to connect, collaborate and keep writing 🙂
