Laura Neill (she/they) is a New York-based playwright who has completed commissions for Ensemble Studio Theatre/Sloan Project (CWIID: a comedy!), Keen Company (The Doctor Will See You Shortly), OperaHub (DIVAS), SpeakEasy Stage Company (Just Cause), and more. Her play Foot Wears House has been featured in Interview Magazine, Jacobin, and Fast Company, and was part of the Working Theater/Broadway Advocacy Coalition Stage Left New Play Festival. Residencies include the O'Neill National Playwrights' Conference, University of Tulsa, VoxLab, and CompanyOne's PlayLab. Foot Wears House


Synopsis:

Management is gearing up to cut pay again. Ellie, Alisha, and new kid Davy are figuring out if they can pull off a strike—as they help sixty customers at a time. Amid understaffing, gas leaks, and Management Being Cheerful TM!, shoeboxes cascade dangerously off of top shelves, and the alarm won't stop going off. Is the warehouse ghost unionizing, too? Or is this whole place just broken?

the moon rituals


Synopsis:

When a group of friends gather by moonlight to banish their chronic pelvic pain with a bad amateur spell, nothing happens. Or does it? Rituals start to pile on rituals... a bachelorette, a knock-off yoga retreat, a funeral for a uterus, and of course, “never have I ever.” Why is every ritual interrupted? And didn’t this AirBnB have a hot tub before—why is there a river of blood running through it?
