An emerging writer of scripts for stage and screen, KR is particularly interested in high-concept plot structures and woman-led perspectives and experiences. Into this she channels a background in multi-media journalism and storytelling, including working for and contributing to leading digital and print news media, glossy magazines and literary periodicals. For five years she served as Chair of a Manchester, UK-based women's writing group, has studied creative writing at the University of Central Lancashire, and was part of the 2026 cohort of the Stowe Story Labs Development Workshop at Manchester Film Festival. Last year her feature-length film script earned a place on the BBC’s Open Call longlist, surpassing 5500+ eligible entries. Other notable projects include creating original spec scripts for BBC Children’s programming and contributing to the Whitefield Garrick Theatre Spring Showcase 2026.
