About me
I write plays that are funny, stories that need to be told, and want to give everyone's side of the story.

(Do Not Press) The Button
Synopsis:
Five young adults sign up for an experiment with simple instructions: stay in a room for 20 minutes and do not press the button. Each paid £20 to take part, we follow the group from the moment the first person enters the room to when most have finally exited. The dynamics of the group change as soon as the clock begins ticking down. Preexisting relationships fracture and new ones are forged as the room breaks into alliances. The tension is exacerbated by the discovery of a recording device within the room – their words come back to haunt them, and they realise that everything that they have been saying could have an impact on their lives outside of this room.
This closed-time, closed-space ensemble comedy drama reflects on the threat of cancel-culture and sexism in high-pressure situations.
