About me

I’m a scriptwriter from Norwich with a passion for great storytelling and silly jokes. Writing for stage, screen and audio, I aspire to create exciting worlds, absurd characters and satisfying conclusions to my sentences.

I studied English Literature at Lancaster University and graduated from the University of East Anglia’s creative writing MA course. I won the Nugent Monck Scriptwriting prize 2015 and Spooky Kid comedy shorts award 2014. I’m the current restaurant critic and theatre critic for arts magazine Outline and a contributing writer to the SHhhh Guide to Norwich – I can pretend to have opinions and will share them for money or free things.

In the last year I have worked for Eggbox publishing as editor of a scriptwriting anthology. My short film, Idling was in pre-production with Drama studio London before the pandemic and I am also a writer on the audio horror series Circles, published by Audio Marvels - https://evergreenpodcasts.com/circles

My film script, ‘Pluck and Spirit’ was shortlisted for the 2021 Wexford Film Festival scriptwriting competition.
