About me

I’m a playwright and screenwriter who loves using humour and experimental form to create a sense of the unexpected in my work. My debut play ‘Catastrophists’ - about a couple who invite a pair of apocalyptic preppers over for a nice sit-down meal - had a professional run at the White Bear Theatre in London and my TV concept ‘Natural Causes’ was one of the winners of the Flickers of the Future competition, which had Richard Curtis as its patron and was looking for creative concepts that depict positive sustainable futures we can aspire to. I’ve been selected to participate in the Royal Court Theatre’s Introduction to Playwriting group and the London Library Emerging Writers Programme, and I’ve had comedy material featured on both BBC Radio Scotland’s Breaking the News and BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack.
