During a Journalism Programme at Jindal Global University, I produced research led journalism and narrative non fiction, including a feature on Gurgaon Ki Awaaz, a women led community produced radio station, alongside personal writing exploring language, cultural identity and Sikh heritage. I also developed my creative writing through The Beginning of the End, an original play about the Soviet Afghan War informed by primary and secondary research, and The Diner Upstairs, a 1960s set drama exploring friendship, prejudice, fear and moral conflict against the backdrop of a changing America. These projects developed my ability to combine research with storytelling, build believable characters and handle complex social themes with sensitivity.
