About me
I'm a pint-sized, Yorkshire-born Creative and I have been writing and directing plays and short films for fifteen years. Having been diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease aged three means hidden disability shapes my view of the world and gives me a passion to voice the stories of those so often overlooked and unheard, as well as a desire to try and be superhuman.
My humorous, poignant, ultimately triumphant stage play inspired by my own lived experience with disability earned me a place on the inaugural UK Women In Theatre Lab programme in partnership with London’s Jermyn Street Theatre. I also have an upcoming commission for Brew Up Productions for an event celebrating artists with disability.
