Emily is a writer, performer and storyteller based in the NE.  You'll often find her clowning around with The Good Name Cabaret or bringing stories to life for families at Seven Stories.  She recently won the Channel 4 / New Writing North TV Award and is developing her pilot comedy script with Rollem Productions.  Her short play 'Fold Me a Paper Man' was staged at Alphabetti Theatre last year and she has written a children's adventure 'The Land of Lost Stories' which she is excited to perform as part of Ouseburn Festival.  Emily is proud to be a facilitator for Northern Stage's Welcome Project and a freelance producer for New Writing North, championing emerging writers from the global majority.  Look out for her new work Goodbye Kajang! which she is performing at Newcastle Fringe Festival in July!
