About me
I am a neurodiverse director and theatre maker from London. What threads through all of my work as a director is a sense of playfulness and precision both in the rehearsal room and on stage. I love comedy and clowning - I think that humour is a great tool for interrogating power dynamics and political themes. I have directed productions at theatres such as Manchester Contact Theatre, Greenwich Theatre, Quarry Theatre and Exeter Northcott. As an assistant director I have most notably worked on Tony! at the Park Theatre, a musical by Harry Hill for which I was responsible for understudies and noting the run. Alongside directing, I facilitate and am currently part of the National Youth Theatre's Creative Leadership cohort and Create's Nurturing Talent programme
As the founder and artistic director of Ricochet Theatre I am experienced in supporting the development of new writing, having supported over 30 scripts to performance. I am a reader for the Bruntwood Prize, Greenwich Theatre and Burnt Orange Theatre.
