About me
Edith is a character-led writer living in London who enjoys grappling with moral issues in life using naturalistic dialogue. She studied English and Philosophy at the University of Bristol and then completed a Drama Writing masters at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Her award-winning debut play 'How You Died' was performed at the Old Red Lion Theatre and Hen and Chickens. It received 5-star (Everything Theatre, Lost in Theatreland) and 4-star (London Pub Theatres, The Reviews Hub, Fringe Biscuit) reviews and won the Ettie award for 'Best of Camden Fringe'.
Her audio play 'Slipping Through My Fingers' was aired by BBC Bristol, and she was interviewed last October. It portrayed the breakdown of a long-term relationship through miscommunication but was ultimately comedic in its satirical use of romantic-comedy tropes.
In addition to her writing, she has worked in development for television, film and theatre.
