About me

I am an Irish writer, currently based in London. I write scripts, primarily for theatre and film, which intertwine comedy, drama, magical realism and horror. I am fascinated by obscenity, the extremes of human experience, and the instability of reality, and I explore this through my work.

I have completed an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where I had short film and play scripts performed at public reading events. I also wrote, presented and audio engineered a short story podcast / radio show for my undergraduate university radio station, consisting of absurd horror short fiction stories I had written.

My short film script Anteater placed in quarter final positions of the TSL Free Screenplay Contest, the Filmatic Horror Screenplay awards and the Killer Shorts Horror Screenplay Competition.

I am currently a script consultant for the London Playwrights Blog, a non-profit which provides resources, script consultancy and writing workshops for writers in the UK and Ireland.
