About me

David, 45, lives just outside London in the South East of England and has been writing for most of his life.

In addition to writing for the stage, David creates works for the page and screen. His writing often leans towards magic realism and speculative fiction, incorporating understated humor that frequently contrasts with dark themes and raw emotional exchanges.

His Hitchcockian noir play, *The Shadow Formula*, was performed on the London Fringe, and he had two five-minute plays accepted for the Lost Theatre's Five Minute Festival. Currently, he is working on an adaptation of *Dracula* set exclusively in Carfax Abbey, a sci-fi project, and a play about death and benches titled *Death on a Bench*.
