About me

I am an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and producer, as well as the Co-Artistic Director of Divided Culture Co. I’ve had three plays professionally staged with support from Arts Council England and National Lottery Community Fund. I am is also a member of the British Film Institute & Film Hub North 2024 Script Lab Programme. I have both a Masters and Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing: Innovation and Experimentation.

The Sacred Disease

Synopsis:

In his quest for an ordinary life, a sixteen-year-old epileptic boy comes face-to-face with his first girlfriend's tyrannical dad and a grave experiment that seeks to cure him of his condition.

The Sacred Disease is a story about sickness - neurological, egotistical and familial. It is a story about the pursuit of wellness and the extent of which we will go to help the ones we love, and the damage we can cause in doing so.
