About me

I am Executive Director of Olivier Award-winning Papatango, author of The Watch House, adapted from Robert Westall's classic novel and published by Bloomsbury, and co-author of Being A Playwright: A Career Guide For Writers, published by Nick Hern Books. My productions have won many awards and I was named in The Stage 25.

The Watch House toured to 13 theatres from 2023-24, achieving the four biggest selling houses in Papatango's history and earning extra shows due to demand.

Synopsis:

An adaptation of Carnegie Medal-winner Robert Westall's classic ghost story. Anne, a teenager struggling with her parents' divorce, uncovers old secrets in a haunted coastguard station. Toured to 13 venues from 2023-24 with many sold-out shows. Cast size ranges from 3 actors with some doubling to 6 actors playing individual roles.
