About me
Cora (she/her) is a performer/writer/ginger with a B.A. (Hons) from the Guildford School of Acting (UK). She also holds a M.A. from the University College Dublin in cooperation with the Gaiety School of Acting (IE) and a sports science degree.
Most recently, she presented the collaboratively-written German musical “Wir / Allein” at the Theater an der Uni in Regensburg and performed as one of the lead roles for an industry workshop. Closely followed by her one-woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
During the pandemic, her work has been performed with the National Youth Theatre, UK, at the recital of the Master of Music at Fontys University in Tilburg, the Netherlands and at Perform for Pride International in Vancouver, Canada. Students based in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia and the Netherlands have been using her original monologues in classes with Broadway Weekends. She has also engaged with the company It’s a Dud that presents new work to central London audiences. Cora is part of the theatremaker collective at the Cockpit Theatre in London and has shown extracts of her work on the theatres’ main stage and in the studio. Her play “Showering” was performed at the Tara Theatre in London (Off-West End) in 2022.
Besides her creative writing ventures, Cora is also a part-time PhD student at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz researching on how accents, dialects, and multilingualism define characters and cultural contexts in musical theatre.
