I'm interested with translating "low" and "weird" pop culture motifs and themes to the stage. I kind of want theatre to be more of a scream again, before Stranger Things eats us alive.

Queen Luci XXVI


Synopsis:

A larger than life warrior monarch attempts to begin democracy, and the world begins to go wrong from the bones outward.

Lords and Ladies become elasticated beasts, Whole armies suffer simultaneous brain death,
Citizens find themselves transmuted into objects at random.

Her only son turns on her in a fit of resentment that his future has been "stolen" from him, and she is ultimately forced to reckon with limitations she cannot fully comprehend.

She rejects them and resolves to begin again, as many times as necessary, to achieve change.
