Her dramatic work has been performed at venues including The Other Palace, Camden People's Theatre, and Northern Broadsides' Studio Space. She trained in applied theatre (BA) and then scriptwriting (MA) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a foundation that informs her distinctive voice and commitment to impactful storytelling with community at the forefront.
As a writer, Annie has been commissioned for community projects by organisations such as Voicebox, the English Collective of Prostitutes Charity, and Hoxton Hall, reflecting her commitment to socially engaged storytelling.
In 2022, Annie was selected for Northern Broadsides' Young Writers Forge, and was subsequently commissioned by Northern Broadsides for a podcast series featuring her work alongside that of poet Simon Armitage.

Synopsis:
‘Extra Time’ is a one-person show exploring masculinity, belonging, and grief.
Ryan, a mid-twenties football fanatic, struggles to keep his cool as his team climb closer and closer to promotion, and memories of his Dad temper with his reality.
While navigating outburst of his repressed grief, Ryan confronts the dark side of himself football’s been masking for years, including his misogyny, drinking, and seeing red.
