Amy Lever (She/Her) is an award-winning actor/ writer from Manchester. As a writer her work includes the award-winning, five-star reviewed “Life Before the Line” (Cambridge University Edinburgh Fringe Prize). She was named runner up for the Alpine Fellowship Prize for Playwriting, selected for Channel 4 x New Writing North Development Scheme and was a part of The Warner Bros Writers Exchange Programme with Warner Bros, The Royal Exchange and Wall to Wall. She has just been commissioned as a playwright with Manchester City of Literature/ Nanjing City of Literature to cowrite a new piece of work with established Chinese playwright Zhou Meisen. As an actor her work includes: critically acclaimed solo play “Lost Girl” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2024 (Keep It Fringe, Underbelly), “The Last Cowboy in Salford” (BFI), “The Heights” (HOME, Shakespeare North Playhouse).
