Papatango run a wide range of free playwriting classes in state schools, for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, and Sixth Form. We are especially interested in supporting schools without full-time drama departments.

“The kids are really excited to keep writing and maybe even put on some of their plays.  One student said, ‘I remembered how much I like writing. I’m going to get back into it’. Teacher, Orchard Secondary School, Bristol

“The children are now very keen to continue their writing and even perform their plays to the whole school. Through the facilitators’ skillful handling of the workshop, the children were enthused and engaged; even the more difficult to reach boys.  All enjoyed the writing aspect of this – for young children – particularly difficult genre.  Chris and George were excellent at managing behaviour and getting the best out of all the children.  The workshop itself was a very good mix between the interactive and physical, and the writing.  Thoroughly enjoyable for all – thank you, Papatango.  You have left us with rich material upon which we can build.” Yvette Kydd, Horfield Primary School
